Heya! I’m a designer and engineer based in East Brunswick, specialising in sound and emerging technology. My work spans across creative industries, product development and hearing science. Where I’ve contributed to projects in audio production, live performance and R&D. I’m interested in how technology can enhance the experience of sound and expand creative possibilities. While improving accessibility and participation for wider communities.
About Me
Curiosity has shaped my path through sound.
I began in 2014 after completing an Advanced Diploma in Sound Production. In my first role as a recording and mastering technician, I built a foundation in analogue media through the process of mastering and manufacturing CDs and cassettes.
My interests then expanded into music production and live sound. I began freelancing, collaborating with bands and venues on live performances. While also working with independent artists on releasing music for digital streaming services.
As the industry shifted from analogue to digital, I was drawn to the possibilities of emerging technology. In 2018 I joined Nura, where I spent eight years working across multiple teams and continued to upskill. I've contributed to the release of 10 products, including 2 featured in Time Magazine’s Top Inventions. I was trained to perform hearing tests, acoustic measurements, and developed an understanding of programming.
Alongside my industry work, I completed a Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) at RMIT. I recently completed sound design and music composition for David Thrussell’s latest album, and the Theatre Works production The Machine Stops. My most ambitious project to date is Somewhere Between Dreams & Memories. Which combines 24:2 channel spatial audio, procedural video projection, and reactive stage design.
